HB 145CommitteePostlesThis act is the first leg of a constitutional amendment that protects parental rights.AN ACT PROPOSING AN AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE I OF THE DELAWARE CONSTITUTION RELATING TO PARENTAL RIGHTS.
SA 1 to SB 68PWBParadeeThis Amendment preserves many of the gun safety measures contained within the Act, but exempts the following individuals who are not otherwise prohibited from possessing a firearm from being prohibited from owning, purchasing, or transferring an assault weapon: 1. Delaware residents born on or before June 30, 1998. 2. Delaware residents who hold a valid license to carry a concealed deadly weapon. 3. Delaware residents who have completed a firearms training course that is sponsored by a federal, state, county or municipal law enforcement agency; a college; a nationally recognized organization that customarily offers firearms training; or a firearms training school with instructors certified by a nationally recognized organization that customarily offers firearms training. In addition, this Amendment permits licensed firearm dealers to sell or transfer an assault weapon to the 3 types of individuals exempted from the Act’s prohibition by this Amendment.
HA 1 to HB 125StrickenSchwartzkopfThis amendment is intended to respond to changes in the regulated alcohol beverage industry by allowing licensed Delaware brewery pubs and microbreweries to affiliate with other in-state or out-of-state brewers while retaining their current license privileges. This bill increases the production volume threshold for the affiliated brewers and maintains the position of craft alcoholic beverage companies in the traditional “three-tier” system by limiting brands that can be transferred from a commonly owned manufacturer or microbrewery to a brewery-pub for consumption on the brewery pub premises.
