Long Title:AN ACT TO AMEND TITLES 16 AND 18 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO HEALTH INSURANCE.
Synopsis:This Bill would amend the Delaware code to ensure that persons covered under health insurance policies receive the right to (a) appropriate referrals, (b) necessary prescription drugs, (c) speedy internal appeals of adverse decisions, (d) appropriate emergency room care, (e) benefits for clinical trials, and (f) attorney's fees in cases where an insurer has acted in bad faith.
