| Long Title: | AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 24 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS. |
| Synopsis: | The purpose of this legislation is to bring the Delaware accountancy law into conformity with established national licensing standards currently adopted in 49 other jurisdictions. The advantages are: (1) to permit Delaware CPAs to practice in other jurisdictions by what is known as “substantial equivalency” and (2) to grant authority to the Delaware State Board of Accountancy to regulate out-of-state CPAs.
