Purpose of the Bill : This Act amends the Charter of the Town of Elsmere relating to failure to pay property taxes by allowing the Town to pursue legal action starting in the month of January following the date these taxes are due. Property taxes in the Town are currently due annually on September 30th.
Committee Findings: There were no major concerns raised about this legislation.
