Purpose of the Bill : The intent of this legislation is create a uniform cease and desist authority for boards and commissions within the State. Also, this legislation further authorizes the boards to establish and impose administrative fines against people who violate such cease and desist orders.
Committee Findings: This bill passed the House last session 41-0. However, it did not pass the General Assembly because it was not heard by the Senate until the last day of session.
