Purpose of the Bill : To update and modernize the authority of DNREC to control the mosquito populations. It requires landowners are notified before DNREC enters onto their property.
Committee Findings: The Committee showed concern about mosquitos developing resistance to methods of control and if landowners allow DNREC to enter their property. DNREC ensure that they have not seen any signs of resistance in mosquitos yet. Also, landowners have been more than willing to allow DNREC to control the mosquitos.
The Committee released the bill.
