Purpose of the Bill : This bill would require local school districts and the Department of Health and Social Services to take advantage of the right afforded by Title 17, Part 245 of the Code of Federal Regulations for school districts and state agencies to share information for the purpose of enrolling children in free or reduced price health insurance programs.


Committee Findings: Rep. Booth inquired as to the cost of the bill for local school districts but there were no fiscal notes for the bill.
