Purpose of the Bill : The bill establishes an intrastate pipeline safety program consistent with the federal pipeline safety regulations and grants the PSC the authority to administer the program and enforce its requirements. This amendment is necessary for the PSC to obtain federal certification and eligibility for certain grants.
