Purpose of the Bill : This Bill adds §4166(d) of Title 21 of the Delaware Code, which proscribes unlawfully passing a school bus, to the list of motor vehicle offenses that are not subject to voluntary assessment procedures. Persons charged with that section are subject to loss of license, making it a charge not amenable to voluntary assessment. The Bill also retains the option of probation before judgment for this offense.
