Purpose of the Bill : This act re-incorporates the Town of Middletown and updates the Town's charter by expanding the Town Council form four to six members, increasing the Town's authority to issue bonds, incorporating Delaware statutory provisions regarding absentee voting and otherwinse revising the charter.


Committee Findings: Although some Middletown residents had previously raised felt that they were not informed of the changes to the town in the new Charter, the Committee found that the Town Council adequately addressed this concern in their meetings.
