Purpose of the Bill : HB 319 mandates that anesthesia used during a colonoscopy be paid for by insurance companies.


Committee Findings: Representatives D. Short and Valihura stated that they had concerns with mandates and the costs associated. They argued that mandates are becoming costly for consumers, and that Delaware already has over 30 mandates. Rep. Valihura added that he would to see a compromise amendment among all parties, including the Speaker's Office, nursue anesthetists, and insurance companies.
