| Long Title: | AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 16 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO INTERNET PHARMACIES AND INTERNET SALES OF PRESCRIPTION DRUGS. |
| Synopsis: | This act replaces House Bill 270. It maintains the intent of House Bill No. 270 and, most importantly the requirement that a bona fide professional relationship exist between a practitioner and a patient for whom drugs are prescribed, while at the same time eliminating unnecessary provisions which would have required the Board of Pharmacy to separately license and inspect internet pharmacies. This bill also allows officers to seize as contraband any prescription drugs delivered in violation of the act.
