| Long Title: | AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 11 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO COMPENSATION FOR INNOCENT VICTIMS OF CRIME. |
| Synopsis: | This Act amends the State’s crime victim compensation statute by adding the offenses of sexual assault and sexual abuse. The Act provide exceptions for the reinvestigation of cases involving child sexual abuse by an adult, waives the reporting requirements for cases involving children who were victims of sexual assault or abuse by an adult and mandates the establishment of streamlined procedures to allow for the provision of psychological services for victims who were minors at the time of the offense.
