| Long Title: | AN ACT TO AMEND TITLES 10 AND 18 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO PROPERTY INSURANCE CONTRACTS AND STATUTES OF LIMITATIONS. |
| Synopsis: | This Bill clarifies that an insurer must provide prompt and timely notice of any applicable periods of limitation for the filing of an action regarding a property insurance claim. This Bill also provides that contractual limitations under a property insurance contract may not require a claimant to file an action less than one (1) year from the date of the denial of the claim.
