| Long Title: | AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 29 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE DELAWARE COMMISSION FOR WOMEN. |
| Synopsis: | This Bill implements the recommendations of the Joint Sunset Committee and establishes the Office of the Commission for Women under the Secretary of State. The Office of the Commission for Women shall function as an advisory, coordinating and implementing agency with other agencies within and outside the State to promote and facilitate the full participation of women in all sectors of society including the Delaware Commission for Women. The Bill also clarifies membership terms and reduces from 15 to 13 the number of appointees to the Delaware Commission for Women from any one political party.
