Long Title:AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 14 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO AN ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARD PROGRAM.
Synopsis:This Act creates a pilot Academic Achievement Awards program, which would use federal stimulus funds to make financial awards to schools that significantly close the achievement gap and schools that exceed their adequate yearly progress for two or more consecutive years.  The awards are focused on schools that have high percentages of economically disadvantaged students.
