| Each volume of the Laws of Delaware contains the bills that were enacted into law during the two sessions of each General Assembly. Bills are placed in the Laws of Delaware in order of enactment.
The Delaware Code Annotated, which is arranged by subject matter and is updated (amended) as bills become law, does not contain every bill that becomes law. The Delaware Code contains only those bills that actually amend the Code itself. Two notable categories of bills that are included in the Laws of Delaware but not in the Delaware Code are financial bills and town charters.
Laws of Delaware volume numbers correspond to the following years and General Assembly sessions. |
