HOUSE BILL NO. 155

AMEND House Amendment No. 3 to House Bill No. 155 on line 5 by inserting after “ vehicle ” the following:

“ , unless the glove compartment can be manually locked to render the firearm inaccessible by any individual other than the owner or an authorized person ”.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment to House Amendment No. 3 to House Bill No. 155 allows for a glove compartment of a motor vehicle to be considered a "locked container" if it can be manually locked to render the firearm inaccessible by any individual other than the owner or an authorized person.
