TO
HOUSE BILL NO. 87
AMEND House Bill No. 87 on line 59 by inserting “ is subject to appropriation by the General Assembly and ” after “ this Program ” and before “ is only ” therein.
FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 87 on line 63 by deleting “ through the annual Appropriations Act ” as it appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof “ for this program ”.
SYNOPSIS
The first part of this amendment clarifies that only the amount of funds appropriated by the General Assembly will be available to provide the insurance premium subsidy established by the bill. The second part of this amendment clarifies that funding can be provided by other sources besides the State operating budget.
