HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 4

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 155

AMEND House Bill No. 155, as amended, by deleting lines 10 and 11 of House Amendment No. 3 in their entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“ (2) Unsafe storage of a firearm in a vehicle is a class A misdemeanor if an unauthorized person obtains the firearm, and the unauthorized person does any of the following with the firearm: ”.

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment makes a technical correction, clarifying HA 3 at line 10, stating that it is a class A misdemeanor if an "unauthorized person" obtains access to the firearm and performs any of the enumerated acts with the firearm.
