SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

SENATE SUBSTITUTE NO. 1

FOR

SENATE BILL NO. 14

AMEND Senate Substitute No. 1 to Senate Bill No. 14 by deleting lines 3 and 4 in their entirety and substituting in lieu thereof the following:

“ (r) Any monthly service, disability, and survivor pension increase based on a former service or disability pension shall not exceed the funding of the Post ”

FURTHER AMEND Substitute No. 1 to Senate Bill No. 14 by deleting the last sentence of the Synopsis. 

SYNOPSIS

This amendment removes the language in Senate Substitute No. 1 to Senate Bill No. 14 and in the Synopsis that refers to the Board of Pension Trustees making a determination about a pension increase.
