HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 51

AMEND House Bill No. 51 on lines 7 and 8 by deleting the phrase “ or if the applicant has all such vehicles inspected by a qualified, certified inspection and repair facility located within this state as determined by the Secretary ” and inserting in lieu thereof “ located in this state ”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 51 on line 10 by deleting the phrase “ any trailer required to be inspected ” and inserting in lieu thereof “ only, any trailer which requires inspection ”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 51 by deleting the second paragraph of the synopsis.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment clarifies that the fleet inspection facilities have to be located in this state. It also removes the provision authorizing third party inspections.
