HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 15

AMEND House Bill No. 15 by deleting lines 38 through 42 in their entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“ risk for ovarian cancer. Such monitoring or screening tests shall be deemed a covered service, notwithstanding any policy exclusions for services which are considered experimental or investigative; provided however, that nothing contained herein shall be deemed to provide coverage for routine screening. service. The terms of such coverage, including cost-sharing requirements, shall be no less favorable than the terms of coverage, including cost-sharing requirements, applicable to screening mammography for breast cancer. ”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 15 by inserting the following after line 64 and before line 65:

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 15 by inserting the following after line 72 and before line 73:

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 15 by deleting lines 90 through 94 in their entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

SYNOPSIS

This amendment adds having a family history of breast cancer in a male relative or a personal history of polycystic ovarian cancer to the definition of “at risk for ovarian cancer.” It also strikes references to experimental or investigative services.
