HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 16

AMEND House Bill No. 16 by striking lines 1 through 4 and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

Section 1. Sections 1501 through 1507 of Title 30 of the Delaware Code are hereby repealed.

Section 2. This Act shall be effective for estates of decedents dying after December 31, 2017.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment clarifies that this Act repeals the Delaware Estate Tax for decedents dying after December 31, 2017.
