HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 55

PROVIDING THAT A JOINT SESSION OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AND THE SENATE BE CONVENED FOR THE PURPOSE OF RECEIVING THE ANNUAL STATE OF THE STATE ADDRESS BY THE HONORABLE JOHN C. CARNEY, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE.

WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article III, Section 15 of the Constitution of the State of Delaware, the Governor shall, from time to time, give to the General Assembly information of affairs concerning the State and recommend to its consideration such measures as he or she shall judge expedient;

NOW, THEREFORE:

BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the 149 ^th General Assembly of the State of Delaware, the Senate concurring therein, that the House of Representatives and the Senate meet in Joint Session in the House Chamber on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be convenient, for the purpose of hearing the annual State of the State Address by the Honorable John C. Carney, Governor of the State of Delaware.

SYNOPSIS

This Concurrent Resolution provides for a Joint Session of the House of Representatives and the Senate to be convened for the purpose of hearing an address by the Honorable John C. Carney, Governor of the State of Delaware.
