HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1
TO
HOUSE BILL NO. 114
AMEND House Bill No. 114 on line 6 by deleting “ 50 ” as it appears therein and by inserting in lieu thereof “ 70 ”.
FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 114 on line 12 by deleting “ 50 ” as it appears therein and by inserting in lieu thereof “ 70 ”.
FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 114 on line 41 by deleting “ 80 ” as it appears therein and by inserting in thereof “ 100 ”.
FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 114 on line 42 by inserting “ 70 years have elapsed after the date of ” before “marriage,” as it appears therein.
SYNOPSIS
This amendment further raises the time periods for public access to individual vital records to 100 years after the date of birth from 72 years as is in current law and 80 years as in the original bill and 70 years after the date of marriage from 40 years as is in current law and 50 years as in the original bill.
