AMEND House Bill No. 173 on line 68 by inserting “ and behavioral health ” after “ medical ” and before “ services ”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 173 on line 84 by inserting “ and behavioral health ” after “ medical ” and before “ services ”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 173 on line 85 by inserting “ and behavioral health ” after “ medical ” and before “ services ”.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment clarifies that the records the Committee may obtain from the Department of Correction and a contractor include both medical and behavior health records. This amendment also clarifies that the Committee may request the appearance of any contractor who provides medical or behavior health services to inmates at its meetings.
