HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

150th GENERAL ASSEMBLY

HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 349

AMEND House Bill No. 349 by deleting lines 45 through 50 in their entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

" beverages in transactions for take-out, curbside, or drive through service if the alcoholic beverages for off-premise consumption are in containers which are securely closed. "

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment removes the requirements that take-out, curbside, or drive through service must include complete meals and that the cost for alcoholic beverages not exceed 40% of the licensee's total sales transactions. This amendment will allow taprooms, which serve little or no food, to sell alcoholic beverages for off-premise consumption and treats all entities that have a valid on-premise license the same.
