SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 7

AMEND House Bill No. 7 on line 9 by deleting “6” and inserting in lieu thereof “ 8 ”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 7 by adding the following after line 18:

“ (8) an individual representing a non-profit that is serving the families of inmates or the inmates themselves, or a local civil rights organization. ”

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 7 on line 33 by deleting “Four” and inserting in lieu thereof “ Five ”.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment increases the size of the Adult Correction Healthcare Review Committee and adds as a member an organization that serves inmates and inmates' families.
