AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 53, TITLE 30, OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO TAXATION OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Three-fifths of all members elected to each House thereof concurring therein):
Section 1. Amend subsection 5305(a), Chapter 53, Title 30, Delaware Coda, by striking in their entirety the words and figures "7 cent per ten cigarettes, or fraction thereof," as they appear in said subsection, and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
"seven (7) mills per cigarette."
Section 2. This Act shall become effective March 1, 1984.
