AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTERS 10. 19 AND 21. OF TITLE 14. DELAWARE CODE, RELATING TO THE TIME OF SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend §1072(a). Chapter 10. Title 14, Delaware Code, by striking the words "12:00 Noon Eastern Standard Time and 8:00 P.M. Eastern Standard" and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
"12:00 Noon and 9:00 P.M. prevailing local time".
Section 2. Amend §1907, Chapter 19, Title 14, Delaware Code, by striking the words "1:00 P.M., Eastern Standard Time and shall close at 8:00 P.M.. Eastern Standard Time" and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
"12:00 Noon and shall close at 9:00 P.M.. prevailing local time".
Section 3. Amend §2122(f). Chapter 21, Title 14, Delaware Code, by striking the words "1:00 P.M., Eastern Standard Time and close at 8:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time" and substituting in lieu thereof:
"12:00 Noon and shall close at 9:00 P.M.. prevailing local time". Section 4. This Act shall become effective July 1. 1984.
