AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 10 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO SALARIES OF JUSTICES OF THE PEACE, PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES AND EMPLOYMENT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend Section 9209(a) of Title 10 of the Delaware Code by deleting the current text and replacing it with the following:
"The Chief Magistrate and the justices of the peace shall receive such compensation as appropriated by the General Assembly and as provided by law."
Section 2. Amend Section 9209(b) of Title 10 of the Delaware Code by adding the following to the end of the subsection:
"except as otherwise provided by law, Court rules or by the Judicial Code of Conduct".
