HOUSE SUBSTITUTE NO. 1

FOR

HOUSE BILL NO. 272

AMEND House Substitute No. 1 for House Bill No. 272 by deleting lines 60 through 66 in their entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“ (b) A violation of this subchapter shall be deemed an unlawful practice under § 2513 of Title 6 and a violation of Subchapter II of Chapter 25 of Title 6. ”.

FURTHER AMEND House Substitute No. 1 for House Bill No. 272 by deleting lines and 73 through 75 in their entirety.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment clarifies that a violation of this subchapter is an unlawful practice under this title and a violation of Subchapter II of Chapter 25 of this title. This amendment was requested by the Department of Justice.
