SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

SENATE SUBSTITUTE NO. 3

FOR

SENATE BILL NO. 4

AMEND Senate Substitute No. 3 for Senate Bill No. 4 by deleting lines 5 and 6 in their entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“ (6) “Criminogenic needs” means the nature and circumstances of the offense for which the individual is being sentenced and the information provided to the court regarding the individual’s criminal history and the individual’s characteristics. ”.

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment clarifies the definition of “criminogenic needs”.
