HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 2

TO

SENATE SUBSTITUTE NO. 1

FOR

SENATE BILL NO. 269

AMEND Senate Substitute No. 1 for Senate Bill No. 269 by deleting line 15 in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“(a)(1) No dog, unless Unless exempted under this section, shall be permitted a person may not intentionally or recklessly allow a dog to run at large outside”.

FURTHER AMEND Senate Substitute No. 1 for Senate Bill No. 269 at line 19 by deleting “Allowing” and inserting in lieu thereof “ Allowing Intentionally or recklessly allowing ”.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment requires that a dog “intentionally or recklessly” be allowed to run at large for a civil penalty to apply.
