HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 456

AMEND House Bill No. 456 on line 509 by deleting “ Kent County ” after the period and before “ within ” therein and inserting in lieu thereof “ the City of Dover ”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 456 by inserting the following after line 869:

“Section 39. Section 22 of this Act applies to an individual appointed as city manager for the City of Dover on or after the effective date of this Act.”.

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment requires that an individual appointed as city manager for the City of Dover on or after the effective date of this Act reside in the City of Dover within 180 days of the date of hire.
