HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 2

TO

SENATE BILL NO. 310

AMEND Senate Bill No. 310 on line 45 by striking “ 23 ” as it appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof “ 25 ”.

FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 310 on line 53 by striking “ Thirteen ” as it appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof “ Fifteen ”.

FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 310 by striking line 56 in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“utilities; renewable energy; solar energy; wind energy; energy efficiency; innovative energy technology; industrial electricity users; transportation fuels fuels; ”.

FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 310 on line 59 by striking “ Four ” as it appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof “ Five ”.

FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 310 on line 60 by deleting “ Four ” as it appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof “ Five ”.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment provides that the Council members include representation from fields that the Climate Action Plan of 2021 states will have a significant impact on our state’s energy infrastructure in the future, specifically the fields of energy efficiency, solar energy, and wind energy. This amendment also makes technical corrections.
