HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1

HOUSE BILL NO. 68

AMEND House Bill No. 68 by adding after line 22 the following:

“Section 2. § 8409(b) of Title 11 does not apply to police officers who submitted applications to the 100 ^th Delaware State Police Recruit Class on or before November 7, 2022, and were subsequently accepted to the 100 ^th Delaware State Police Recruit Class.”

SYNOPSIS

This amendment clarifies that the lookback period for determining reimbursement of police training expenses does not apply to police officers who submitted applications to the 100th Delaware State Police Recruit Class on or before November 7, 2022, and were subsequently accepted to the 100th Delaware State Police Recruit Class.
