HOUSE BILL NO. 53

AMEND House Amendment No. 1 to House Bill No. 53 on line 10 by adding the following after “ county. ”:

“ The lawyer must also be a resident of the county to which the lawyer is designated Chief Prosecutor at the time of the lawyer’s designation. ”.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment requires that a lawyer designated by the Attorney General as Chief Prosecutor of a county must reside in that county at the time the lawyer is designated Chief Prosecutor of that county.
