HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 40

AMEND House Bill No. 40 by inserting between lines 23 and 24 the following and redesignating accordingly:

“Section 2. The Co-Chairs of the Grants-In-Aid Committee, in collaboration with the Controller General, shall develop procedures to guide the Grants-In-Aid Committee’s review of Grants-In-Aid agencies and recommendations for dissemination of Grants-In-Aid funds. Said procedures shall be submitted by February 1, 2024 to the Co-Chairs of the Joint Finance Committee for approval.”.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment gives direction to the Controller General's Office to develop procedures for the committee to operate under to be submitted by February 1, 2024.
