HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 111

AMEND House Bill No.111 on line 7 by deleting “60” as it appears therein and by inserting in lieu thereof “ 60 90 ”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No.111 on line 12 by deleting “ 60 90 ” as they appear therein and inserting in lieu thereof “60”.

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment increases the length of time for a temporary registration plate from 60 days to 90 days from date of issue or until issuance of a permanent registration. The Amendment keeps a temporary registration plate for a certified repair technician to 60 days to allow the technician to operate a vehicle with expired registration in order to verify repairs.
