SENATE BILL NO. 165
AMEND Senate Bill No. 165 on line 29 by inserting “ from a practitioner ” after “prescription”.
FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 165 on line 29 by deleting “physician-approved” and substituting in lieu thereof “ practitioner-approved ”.
FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 165 on line 30 by deleting “title.” and substituting in lieu thereof “ title or a nurse duly licensed in the State under Chapter 19 of this title .”
SYNOPSIS
This Amendment clarifies "practitioners" who administer injectable medications, biologicals and immunizations are engaged in the "practice of pharmacy" as defined in the original bill.
