HOUSE BILL NO. 242
AMEND House Bill No. 242 by adding after line 88 and before line 89 the following and redesignating accordingly:
“ ( ) Other than the potential restrictions stipulated in subsection (c) and subsection (f), a hospital may not prohibit in-person visitation by a doula providing doula services as defined in § 6536A of Title 11 with a pregnant or postpartum person. ”
SYNOPSIS
This Amendment provides that a hospital could not prohibit in-person visitation by a doula providing doula services with a pregnant or postpartum person.
