SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 13

TO

SENATE SUBSTITUTE NO. 1

FOR

SENATE BILL NO. 2

AMEND Senate Substitute No. 1 for Senate Bill No. 2 on line 201 by deleting "immediately" after "effective" and before "and" therein and inserting in lieu thereof "upon the full implementation of the Firearm Transaction Approval Process (“FTAP”) that was enacted by House Bill No. 423 of the 151st General Assembly. ".

FURTHER AMEND Senate Substitute No. 1 for Senate Bill No. 2 on line 202 by inserting " after full implementation of FTAP " after "following" and before the colon therein.

FURTHER AMEND Senate Substitute No. 1 for Senate Bill No. 2 on line 203 by deleting "the" after "of" and before "Act’s" therein and inserting in lieu thereof "this".

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment changes the effective date of the legislation such that it shall not be implemented until the Firearms Transaction Approval Process ("FTAP") is fully implemented by the State Bureau of Identification and all requisite state of Delaware governmental entities.
