HOUSE SUBSTITUTE NO. 1

HOUSE BILL NO. 5

AMEND House Substitute No. 1 for House Bill No. 5 by deleting lines 24 through 28 in their entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“ (c) Local education agencies must use the funds reimbursed for school-based behavioral health services to support school-based behavioral health programs and services. ”.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment removes the provision allowing the Department of Education to retain 5% of federal reimbursements to defray administrative costs and rephrases the requirement that reimbursements be used for school-based behavioral health programs and services.
