HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1

HOUSE SUBSTITUTE NO. 1

FOR

HOUSE BILL NO. 372

AMEND House Substitute 1 for House Bill No. 372 on line 6 by deleting “ 12 or more ” as it appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof the following: “ more than 12 ”.

FURTHER AMEND House Substitute 1 for House Bill No.372 on line 35 by deleting “ landlord, up to the connection to the home distribution point, ” as it appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof the following: “ landlord, up to the physical connection to the home, ”.

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment clarifies the definition of "day" when the period of time prescribed or allowed is more than 12 days. This Amendment also clarifies that the landlord is responsible for maintenance of utilities and services provided by the landlord up to the physical connection to the home.
