SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 401

AMEND House Bill No. 401, after line 66, by inserting the following:

“ (e) The Division of Public Health shall also send results for all children who have been screened to the State’s health information exchange, Delaware Health Information Network, for inclusion in the community health record. ”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 401, on line 67, by deleting “(e)” as it appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof “ (e) (f) ”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 401, on line 70, by deleting “ (f) ” as it appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof “ (g) ”.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment requires that the Division of Public Health send the results of lead poisoning screenings to the State’s health information exchange, Delaware Health Information Network, for inclusion in the community health record.
