SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 2

TO

SENATE BILL NO. 81

AMEND Senate Bill No. 81 on line 8 by inserting “ Credit for years of experience as a Title 1 or instructional paraprofessional for teachers or specialists on the salary schedule under § 1305 of this title must start upon the date of completion and approval of an application to the employer. ” after “ 2023 .”

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment provides clarity that credit for years of experience begins at the date of completion and approval of an application to the employer.
