HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 114

AMEND House Bill No. 114 on line 5 by deleting " 19 " and substituting in lieu thereof the following: " 15 ".

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 114 on line 48 by inserting after “ years ” and before “ must ” the following: “ old ”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 114 after line 52 by inserting the following:

" (i) A person must be at least 14 years old to operate a low speed scooter. "

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment lowers the top speed of a "low-speed scooter" from 19 mph to 15 mph and requires operators to be at least 14 years old.

This Amendment also makes a technical correction.
