HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 193

AMEND House Bill No. 193 by deleting lines 5 through 13 in their entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“(e) The   DMHRA Board may establish and adjust the   cap on the Trust Fund   is $15 million. The cap may be adjusted, eliminated, or reinstated by the Board at any time, subject to the voting requirements under § 7041(c)(3) of this title.     based on the costs reasonably necessary to carry out the purposes of the Trust Fund under subsection (b) of this section. “.

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment changes the language regarding the removal of the cap of the Trust to mirror language found accomplishing the same purpose in SB 144, to ensure there is no conflict.
